Not the best photograph but it smells great. Making a chicken casserole for change this Sunday. Chicken, carrots, onion, garlic, milk, white wine, flour with salt and pepper to season. It will be joined with roast potatoes. Just what you need when it's a bit cold outside.

I always wonder especially at this time of year, what mushrooms are
edible. I see loads. A free bounty of food but I don't know if they're
edible or not? Seems such a waste to walk by them if the are.

Do people just know by looking at them or is it a skill learned? I
wouldn't want to learn the hard way!

Brightened up my lunch some what today. After my sandwiches, I had a
sugar donut in a bowl of custard. Not much of puddings guy. Ice cream
or an apple pie are usually as adventurous as I get. But I used to eat
this nearly everyday when I was back in school. Magic, it was back
then and it didn't disappoint today. Great end to my lunch.

Well that's @babybunten completed her first full week of eating
'solids'. Well when I say solids I mean baby rice, it's only slightly
thicker than her milk. We're getting there. Next up mince and tatties.

Starting my birthday off in the right way with a big fry up.

Mother Hubbards cupboard is no longer empty, full to brim. It's been a
while since we did a big shop but it was needed for a change.
